Well-kept secret
Family tradition
Our passion for Italy and beautiful food led us to start importing high-quality olive oil from the Battaglini family business in early 2023.This company has been producing olive oil according to a traditional process for three generations. All olives are hand picked and cold pressed within 24 hours. The vertical press is a now patented invention of a family member.

Famous History
Ideal Location
Lake Bolsena is a historically relevant place inMiddle Italy. The lava soils present are rich in mineral components and there is a rare mild microclimate.
In this natural setting, the Battaglini family carefully manages its more than 12 hectares of historic olive groves with beautiful names such as Poggio sala and Monte Segnale, paying constant attention to pruning and vegetative development in order to maintain the best ripeness of the fruit from which the extra virgin olive oil is pressed. The varieties grown are all autochthonous, such as the Caninese , Leccino , Moraiolo and Frantoio

Italian Passion
Dreams and Ambition
When Nazzareno Battaglini started his own olive-growing business in 1935, he hoped that this would be the beginning of work and development for several generations of his family.
He turned this hope into constant improvement of the olive groves and the deployment of a special oil mill. This mill is now reference point of absolute quality and reliability in the Bolsena region.
Son Bruno oversees production and grandsons Andrea(professional taster) and Stefano(agricultural consultant and grinding technician) ensure the national and international appreciation of BATTAGLINI. Preservation of the traditional characteristics of craftsmanship go hand in hand with excellence in management and products.
It is therefore justified to receive many awards and appreciations every year.

REspect for Nature
Sustainable
Good olive oil is made from first pressing of good olives picked by hand. The entire company and the process from harvesting to processing have a clear focus on respect for nature and ecologically sustainable practices, which are now demonstrably successful.
The history of Frantoio Battaglini shows a series of avant-garde choices. Since 1976, the pits from the olives have been used to feed the hot water production in the factory, and the waste water is reused for food and irrigation in agriculture.
Since 2010, the factory has been producing its own electricity, thanks to a photovoltaic system capable of meeting all operational needs. The use of labels on recycled paper has now become standard.
